Content, science, strategy, and DEIB
I am a writer, editor, educator, and strategist with a passion for creative, approachable communication and DEIB. I currently work in communications (particularly science, health, and inclusion), develop content and organizational strategy, and design and deliver training across a range of subjects. I’ve written fiction, narrative nonfiction, and scripts; consulted for a variety of industries (especially education and entertainment); and been a science communicator for all ages and backgrounds. When I’m not at work, I create stories, work on community engagement initiatives, and take my dog on approximately one million walks.
- Content: My experience ranges from comic book scripts to peer-reviewed publications and everything in between. I can write, edit, and advise on print and web layout, design options, and promotion.
- Science: I specialize in the life and medical sciences. If it is (or ever was, or ever might be) alive, I’d love to talk about it!
- Strategy: If you’re looking for a content or communications strategy, whether internal or external, formal or informal, I can help.
- DEIB: I offer general training, consulting, support, and sensitivity reading. I also offer deep dives into specific needs and use cases. My main expertise is in the areas of disability, gender, and sexual orientation.
